LODI – Rob Terhune has discussed the opportunity with his players.Lodi’s softball program hasn’t advanced to a sectional final in more than 25 years. The Rams ended that drought this season.
One more victory, and a banner commemorating a title will hang in the high school gymnasium for years to come.
Just one more win.
“So we talk about it,” Terhune said. “But the opportunity for us is actually here. So we want to make the most of it.”
The sixth-seeded Rams have been playing their best softball over these past few weeks, doing everything it takes to keep their run in the state tournament going.
Lodi’s next challenge comes today, when it visits No. 4 Parsippany in the North 2, Group 2 title game at 4 p.m.
