LODI – With his fans screaming and his teammates celebrating, Anthony Thomas turned around with his arm raised and soaked in the biggest win of his young career with a humble grin on his face.
The Becton/Wallington freshman came through when his team needed him most, leading the Wildcats to a thrilling win over one of their biggest rivals.
Trailing by two early in his 138-pound match, Thomas turned things around to earn a 9-5 victory over Cole Villacis, which secured Becton/Wallington’s 31-26 win over Lodi in a NJIC Division 1 wrestling match Friday night.
