Will Cook scored a game-high 20 points and David Guerra had 17 points as top-seeded Wood-Ridge defeated 16th-seeded Hopatcong 69-51 in the quarterfinals of the North Jersey, Section 1, Group 1 tournament on Wednesday in Wood-Ridge.
Joshua Paez scored 12 points and Ernest Day added 10 points for Wood-Ridge, which outscored Hopatcong 41-16 in the first half.
Anton Pezzano led Hopatcong with 15 points. Tobi Olugbenga and John McCloskey scored 11 points each for Hopatcong.
