GIRLS FIRST TEAM

Grace Dalgetty

Dwight-Englewood junior, high jump

She cleared 5-4 or better five times with a personal best of 5-5, in winning the Beantown Winter Classic in Boston. She also won the NJIC, the Varsity Classic and Ridgewood Winter Games and took second in the Non-Public A state championships before finishing in tie for sixth in the State Meet of Champions.

55 HH: Iza Samu, Glen Rock junior

 

BOYS FIRST TEAM

Owen Keating

Pompton Lakes senior, pole vault

Keating did something no North Jersey athlete has done, clearing 16 feet four times. His personal best of 16-6 came at the Officials Hall of Fame Invitational. He won 10 major titles, including his second straight state Group 1 and Passaic County championships, and capped the regular season with a win at the State Meet of Champions.

 

Matt Murillo

Hasbrouck Heights senior, all around

Murillo won the high jump at state Group 1 meet with a personal best jump of 6-4. He took fourth in the 55 hurdles in the same meet and won the high, long and triple jump at the NJIC Championships. He won two other long jump titles, three other triple jump titles and had four other high jump wins. He was seventh in the State Meet of Champions and second in the Eastern States in the triple, the latter in a school record 46-3½.

1,600: Aidan Morrow, Hasbrouck Heights senior

55 HH: Will Cusick, Cresskill senior
