NORTH HALEDON — Senior running back Matt Laquidara carried 25 times for 195 yards and three touchdowns Saturday, cracking the 1,000–yard rushing plateau as Park Ridge beat Manchester, 28-26, in an NJIC crossover game.

Laquidara has 1,010 rushing yards for the seasons, a big reason why the Owls (5-4) have assured themselves of at least a .500 record for the first time since 2010. Josh Lewis caught three passes for 57 yards and a touchdown.

LODI 34, POMPTON LAKES 12 (at Lodi): Dante McCarroll ran for 134 yards and three touchdowns to lead the Rams in crossover action. Steven Villano and Jessey Asare each added 104 rushing yards for the Rams. Sal Negrini ran for 126 yards and two touchdowns for Pompton Lakes.

ELMWOOD PARK 27, NEW MILFORD 18 (at Elmwood Park): Rutgers-bound quarterback Michael Dare threw for 203 yards and three touchdowns to pace the Crusaders (7-2) to their sixth straight win in a crossover game. Brandon Ricketts caught five of those passes for 166 yards and three scores.
