Alisa Giordano scored 20 points to lead first-seeded Wood-Ridge to a 60-45 victory over fifth-seeded Midland Park in the semifinal round of the North Jersey, Section 1, Group 1 playoffs in Wood-Ridge.
Karina Tayaba added 14 points, seven assists, six rebounds and five steals for Wood-Ridge, which outscored Midland Park 15-7 in the third quarter. Allison Kronyak helped out with 12 while Bailey Wyrostek chipped in with 11 points and six rebounds.
Julie Carey had 17 to lead Wood-Ridge.
