Few players proved to be as clutch as Zakowski was this season. He led Glen Rock with 27 goals and was tied for the second on the team with eight assists. He scored nine goals during the Bergen County Tournament to lead Glen Rock to its first-ever championship. When the state tournament came around, he was just as hot with eight goals to lead Glen Rock to the Group 2 championship.
Sowe has been a scoring machine his entire career and this year was no different. He finished fifth in the state with 35 goals this season and had a team-high 21 assists. He had six hat tricks – including a a 4-3 upset over Kearny in the Hudson County Tournament semifinals. He finished his career as Harrison’s all-time leading scorer with 88 career goals.
Rogers helped mount a historic season for Glen Rock, where it claimed its first-ever Bergen County Tournament title, reached the Group 2 final and won 23 games. Rogers became part of one of the state’s deadliest duos alongside Ben Zakowski. He finished second on Glen Rock with 22 goals to go along with his eight assists.
