NJIC Player of the Week: Aaron Kashian, Secaucus, Sr., Guard
Secaucus entered last week trying to rebound from a tough 53-25 loss to Dwight-Englewood. Kashian was held to just eight points. Kashian and Secaucus rebounded in a big way. Kashian scored 23 points in a 54-40 win over Leonia, 21 points in a 64-22 win over Butler and 24 points in a 70-54 win over Bergen Charter. He hit four 3-pointers in all three games. Player of the Week: Shannon Burns, Park Ridge, Jr.
Burns averaged 20 points and 9.5 rebounds per game last week in wins overs Midland Park and Waldwick. The win over Midland Park was a big win for Park Ridge. The Owls are playing really well this season, with its only losses coming against Cresskill and Saddle River Day.
