* Becton racked up 453 rushing yards in its 40-point victory over Bogota. Senior LB Joe Lesho added seven tackles, one forced fumble and one sack for the Wildcats (4-0).

* Hasbrouck Heights’ running game is more than just Frankie Quatrone. Though the QB was outstanding in the Aviators’ win over Cresskill (four TD runs), they have a host of other playmakers. John Iurato carried the ball eight times for 71 yards and a TD. Nico Facchini, Jasiah Purdie and Nick Monahan also contributed.

* Park Ridge senior RB Ray Tomatsu accounted for 341 all-purpose yards in the Owls’ dominant victory over Weehawken. He rushed 16 times for 228 yards two TDs. He had four receptions for 113 yards, too.

* Pompton Lakes senior QB Kevin Cotter completed 15 of 21 passes for 203 yards and five TDs to lead his team over New Milford and keep the Cardinals unbeaten (3-0).

* Rutherford’s defense continued to dominate, yielding just one touchdown against Garfield. The undefeated Bulldogs have outscored their opponents, 155-30.

* Waldwick/Midland Park again displayed its formidable running game in its big win over Glen Rock. Senior FB Matt Messner rushed for 212 yards on 21 carries. Junior RB Sonny DiPasquale ran for two TDs.
