Below, you’ll find our picks for NJIC Conference Swimmers of the Week from Dec. 31-Jan. 6.

Orlando Pardo, Becton, Jr.

Pardo was a key difference maker for Becton in a close 87-78 win over Lyndhurst. He recorded a season-best time of 1:13.62 to win the 100 back. That went along with a first-place finish in the 200 MR and second-place finishes in the 200 IM and 400 FR.

Iris Kim, Leonia, Sr.

If wasn’t already obvious, Iris Kim is back and looking better than ever after missing most of last season. In a 117-52 victory over Secaucus on Tuesday, Kim not only steered Leonia to wins in the 200 MR and 400 FR, but nearly hit MOC cuts in the 100 fly (1:00.55) and 200 IM (2:15.73).
