Baseball:
Cresskill HS: Troy Henderson is the Bergen Record’s Male Athlete of the Week.  His pitching stats include a 20 record, 2 complete games, 3 earned runs allowed, 14 strikeouts, and no walks.  At the plate he was 6 for 11 including a grand slam, 2 doubles, 9 RBI, and six runs scored.

New Milford HS: vs. Glen Rock (Bergen County Tournament) Victor Barrera (2-3, 2B, RBI) and Connor Swanson (1-3, 2B, 2RBI)
Weehawken HS: Sal Mendez pitched a complete game no hitter vs. Fort Lee on 5/7/13 Striking out 15 walking 2 and 0 runs. Jimmy McCall pitched 6 scoreless innings striking out 10 and scattering 5 hits in Weehawken’s 6-0 victory in the first round of the Hudson County Baseball Tournament.
Softball:
Weehawken HS: Emily Verdon  – struck out 9 and threw a one hitter in a 4-0 victory against Cliffside Park.Had 9K’s against Harrison and 16K’s against Pal Park which is a school record.  Has 126 strikeouts on the season.Selected the athlete of the week by the Hudson Reporter. Marcella Desharnais – has collected 5 hits in the three wins for the Indians.
