Pompton Lakes was group runner-up for the second time in three seasons. The Cardinals got big opening games from seniors Esteban Garcia (266) and Nick Cilento (253) to tally a 1,054.
“Esteban [688 series] was huge,” Pompton Lakes coach Doug Batsch said. “They all bowled out of their shoes [Friday]. I think they were fantastic.”
