Pete Guerriero capped another big week by powering Lyndhurst to the boys team title at the Aviator Relays on Friday.
The Record Male Athlete of the Week helped the Golden Bears to second-place finishes in the 4-x-100 and 4-x-200, and a third-place showing in the triple jump.
Whether he’s burning up the track, rushing for more than 2,000 yards on the gridiron in the fall, or earning a place on the All-Bergen basketball team in the winter, Guerriero says he’s driven to give his all.
His dad, Joseph Guerriero, died in a car accident just as Pete was entering third grade, but not before he instilled in his son a passion for sports.
