► Dwight-Englewood took a big step toward clinching the NJIC Liberty title with a come-from-behind, 6-5 victory over Leonia. Jacob Wright’s RBI single won it in the bottom of the seventh, after senior David Miller’s two-run double had tied it.

► Pompton Lakes delivered a 4-0 week to stretch its winning streak to five games, capped by a 6-2 NJIC Colonial victory over a ranked Rutherford squad. The Cardinals did not allow more than four runs in any of the five wins.Freshmen pitchers Nick Laccitiello and Harrison Curran allowed only two earned runs against Butler and Glen Rock. Senior Ryan Scanelli struck out eight in the victory over Rutherford.

► Park Ridge closed the month with wins over Cresskill and Midland Park to climb to 12-7. Over the last three games, junior leadoff hitter Matthew Manning batted 6-for-10 with two walks, three runs scored and an RBI. Senior Ryan Spies earned his fifth victory by tossing a five-hitter, allowing two earned runs, in the 8-5 win over Midland Park.
