* Junior P Leigha Goldsack had an outstanding week for Rutherford. She pitched a six-inning no-hitter with 12 strikeouts against Eastern Christian on Monday. Goldsack yielded just one earned run with eight strikeouts to lead the Bulldogs to a win over previously undefeated Lodi on Wednesday. Then she pitched a perfect game with 17 strikeouts against Elmwood Park on Friday. She also went 6-for-10 at the plate with four RBI and five runs scored.

* Saddle Brook senior P Taryn DiGiacomo threw a no-hitter against North Arlington on Monday, striking out 13 batters with one walk. Then the left-hander threw her second perfect game of the season against previously undefeated Hasbrouck Heights on Friday, striking out 11 batters. She also hit .750 for the week.

* Junior SS Sophia Doku continued her hot hitting for Cresskill last week, going 7-for-12 with four doubles, two home runs and eight RBI. She’s hitting .607 for the season with a .679 on-base percentage.

* Leah Mercadante had a big week for Midland Park, going 7-for-12 (.583) in three games with three doubles, a home run and 10 RBI. She was 2-for-3 with two walks, a home run and six RBI in the Panthers’ 19-6 win over Ramsey on Saturday.

* Waldwick leadoff hitter Devin Burke was 9-for-13 (.692) with four runs scored, a triple and two RBI in three games. She also had the game-winning suicide squeeze bunt in the bottom of the seventh to lift the Warriors to an 8-7 win over Midland Park on Wednesday.

* Junior SS KellyAnn Rubino played a big part in Park Ridge’s 3-1 week. She went 7-for-12 with two doubles, a home run, five RBI, two stolen bases and four walks.

* Bogota right-hander Madison Heck threw a five-inning no-hitter with eight strikeouts against Palisades Park on Monday.
