Zoe Kloza, Mary Help of Christians, Fr.
Mary Help of Christians snapped a nearly 30-game losing streak dating back over two years with two wins over Palisades Park, 13-0, and Manchester Regional, 9-0. Kloza was perfect and didn’t allow a baserunner in both of those games, striking out a career-high 14 in five innings and then striking out eight against Manchester Regional as well.
Brooke McHale, Weehawken, Sr.
McHale manageed three hits and an RBI last week but was particularly strong in the circle. In 18 innings of work, she gave up just five earned runs, striking out 21, including seven against a Top 20 Morris Catholic squad and seven in just four innings of work against North Arlington.
