North Jersey Interscholastic Conference Players of the Week
Brianna Maye, New Milford, Fr.
One of the top freshmen in the NJIC, Maye continued her strong start last week for the Knights. She went 8-for-13 with the first two homers of her career, including her first in an 8-6 win over North Bergen. She also scored eight runs, drove in nine and stole two bases as well and tied her career high with a four-RBI game against Lyndhurst.
Mikayla Eutermarks, Butler
Butler went 1-1 last week but Eutermarks still managed to show out in both games. She hit two homers and drove in three runs in a 7-5 loss to Morristown, but she also struck out 11 in that game as a pitcher. In a 2-1 win over Mountain Lakes, she tossed a three-hitter, striking out a career high 12 and giving up just one unearned run.
