North Jersey Interscholastic Conference Players of the Week
Delilah Tabaka, Wallington, Sr.
An All-State pitcher last year, Tabaka was a big time strikeout machine last week with 14 K outing in a 2-1 win over one of the NJIC’s top teams in Hasbrouck Heights and a 19 strikeout game in an extra inning win over Becton. She tossed 21 innings last week, allowing 12 hits, three earned runs, three walks and striking out 38.
Gabby Micucci, Emerson Boro, Jr.
Emerson had a big week as a team last week and Micucci was a big run producer in those games. She went 7-for-11 and four big RBI against Pompton Lakes and two against Glen Rock as she drove in eight runs total on the week and scored another three.
