North Jersey Interscholastic Conference Players of the Week
Brianna Depalo, Cresskill, Fr.
Depalo continues to pace Cresskill’s record-setting offense. She went 7-for-9 last week with six runs scored and nine RBI. She also stole three bases and hit three doubles as Cresskill picked up two big wins.
Emily Ignacio, Leonia/Bogota, Jr.
Ignacio went 4-for-7 last week with two homers and four RBI in a 6-2 win over Lyndhurst, where she also struck out 15 and walked just two. She went 2-for-4 with a run scored and six strikeouts in a loss to St. Mary (Ruth.) as well.
Grace Wien, Saddle Brook, Jr.
Wien struck out 28 in just 15 innings, walking six in that span as the Falcons went 1-1 on the week. She also had three hits and two walks as she nears 300 strikeouts on the season.
