Softball Player of the Week
Delilah Tabaka, Wallington, Jr.
Tabaka had a historic week for the Panthers, becoming the first pitcher in program history to record 500+ strikeouts in a career, reaching the mark in a 3-2 win against Pompton Lakes where she struck out 16 to give her 513 K’s in her career. On the week, she struck out 42 with just three walks and eight hits in 21 innings, giving up two unearned runs. She also went 6-for-10 with two homers, three doubles and four RBI.
