Brenden Baeza, Garfield, Sr., UTL/P

Baeza was tops in the NJIC last week with nine hits, going 9-for-15 with seven runs scored, five RBIs and eight stolen bases. He also pitched twice, tossing 10 1/3 frames against Becton and Paramus Catholic. He surrendered one earned run and struck out 10. This season, he is batting .529 with 18 hits and 12 stolen bases. On the mound, he has a 3.00 ERA and 32 punch-outs spanning 23 1/3 frames.

Everett Garber, Dwight-Englewood, Sr., P/UTL

Garber led the conference in strikeouts last week with 19, doing so in nine innings against New Milford and Tenafly. He bolsters an 0.82 ERA in 17 frames this season with 25 total punch-outs. He also had six hits last week, generating a .440 season batting average behind two doubles, five walks and six runs scored.

Cole Hughes, Park Ridge, Sr., UTL

Hughes led the NJIC with 12 RBIs last week as part of a 7-for-12 week with three stolen bases and three extra-base hits. He scored twice and popped off against Wallington, totaling four hits and five RBIs on Apr. 20. This season, he is a .438 hitter with 14 RBIs and nine stolen bases.
