Mark Rigano, Lyndhurst
Lyndhurst had itself a great week. Rigano helped Lyndhurst defeat Becton, 4-3, on Monday as he carded a 599 series. He then had a 618 series with a high game 236 against Secaucus, and then it upped his game even further with a 647 set where he had a 258 high game. Lyndhurst is now in first place in the NJIC-Meadowlands.
Leah Rodriguez, Becton
Rodriguez was stellar over the past week. Rodriguez helped Becton to two wins in three tries over Hasbrouck Heights and Rutherford. The last two matches saw her card series of 617 and 600, the only two times she reached the 600-pin plateau for a set. Rodriguez shot a 222 in Game 2 against Lyndhurst and a 204 in Game 1 against Rutherford. She is averaging a 178 on the season.
