Owen Keating’s 16-6 in the pole vault
Pompton Lakes’ Owen Keating has set the bar this season in the pole vault, leading the state nearly the entire season so far, and his performance to earn that No. 1 mark was nothing short of impressive. The Binghamton commit cleared a PR of 16-6 at the Refuel with Chocolate Milk Officials Hall of Fame Invitational to improve his season-best by a whole foot and win the event. The mark also became No. 4 all-time in N.J. indoor history and is the tied for the 11th-best mark in the country this season. He also reset his own Passaic County record of 15-6 that he set at the Saint Invitational back in December.
