North Jersey Interscholastic Conference Player of the Week
Francesca Matraxia, Becton, Sr.
Matraxia went 2-for-2 in double-digit kill matches on the opening week, getting 11 apiece against Dumont and Wood-Ridge. Matraxia added nine aces in the Dumont match, part of a 12-kill week, and totaled 16 digs, with 10 against Dumont. Becton started the season 2-0, getting a three-set win in each of the two matches.
