Throughout his two years as a starter for Harrison, De La Cruz was one of the best setters in the entire state and ran the Blue Tide’s offense efficiently and effectively to the tune of a 49-10 record. This year alone De La Cruz finished with 658 assists, which was tops in the NJIC by 188 assists, and sixth in the whole state. The senior turned his play up a notch over the second half of the season as well as he logged between 20 and 35 assists in 12 of the Blue Tide’s final 15 games. For his career De La Cruz finished with 1,251 assists.
