NJIC Players of the Week
Adam Uryniuk, Weehawken, Sr.
Uryniuk played a key role in Weehawken picking up two big recent wins over Secaucus and McNair. Against Secaucus, the senior had 23 kills in three sets, and added 12 more in the match against McNair. Kills have been the name of the game for Uryniuk, who continues to dazzle on the offensive side of the ball.
Ylan Tapper, Garfield, Sr.
Garfield competed in five matches this past week, and won all five, dropping just two sets in the process. Tapper had 86 kills and 36 digs, and also contributed 24 service points with seven aces.
